Hosted Sudanese Program
Launched in 2023, the Hosted Sudanese Program provides entrepreneurship training and mentorship to Sudanese refugees and displaced communities.

Program Overview
Fully funded and implemented by Gemini Africa, the program responds to the urgent need for sustainable livelihood opportunities among displaced communities. It focuses on equipping participants with the foundational business and personal skills required to start and manage small ventures, enabling refugees to build pathways toward financial independence and long-term sustainability.
Participants engaged in a structured capacity-building journey that covered entrepreneurship fundamentals and idea development, basic marketing strategies for small and community-based ventures, team building and collaboration skills, and personal development competencies that strengthen self-reliance and resilience. The training approach emphasized practical and accessible learning, ensuring that participants could directly apply newly acquired knowledge to their entrepreneurial ideas and livelihood goals.
Impact
The program contributed to promoting economic inclusion, resilience, and self-reliance among Sudanese refugees in Egypt, while reinforcing Gemini Africa’s commitment to inclusive entrepreneurship and humanitarian-development linkages.
