Gemini Womenepreneurs
A flagship women's entrepreneurship program that combines business incubation, digital skills training, and leadership development.

Program Overview
Gemini Womenpreneurs is a women-focused entrepreneurship and economic empowerment program designed to support talented women artists and recent female graduates in transforming their creative skills into sustainable, income-generating businesses. Implemented during 2024–2025 in partnership with Education for Employment Egypt (EFE), the program equips participants with the entrepreneurial, professional, and market-oriented tools needed to succeed in Egypt’s creative economy. The program introduces participants to the concept of becoming “artpreneurs”, combining artistic talent with entrepreneurship, commercialization, and business thinking to achieve long-term financial sustainability.
Program Scope & Reach
Gemini Womenpreneurs was implemented across seven governorates—Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Fayoum, Aswan, Damietta, and Qalyubia—and delivered through two cohorts, reaching a total of 47 women participants, with 100% female participation.
Program Structure & Support
Participants engaged in a structured capacity-building journey delivered primarily through online workshops that covered entrepreneurship fundamentals, creative business model development, forming and managing creative teams, customer attraction and market access strategies, legal considerations for creative businesses, proposal writing and pitching, as well as networking and professional development. Following the theoretical training phase, participants were grouped and tasked with developing innovative, monetizable artistic concepts or strengthening existing creative projects, applying entrepreneurial thinking and practical business tools to transform artistic ideas into viable, market-oriented outputs.
Impact & Outcomes
Through Gemini Womenpreneurs, participants strengthened their ability to monetize their creative talents and advanced toward building sustainable, art-based businesses. They also enhanced their professional readiness and confidence to enter the job market or grow their own ventures. At a broader level, the program contributed to women’s economic empowerment and inclusive entrepreneurship, unlocking the economic potential of creative talent across Egypt. This reflects Gemini Africa’s continued commitment to gender-responsive and impact-driven entrepreneurship support.
