Implemented in 2022, the Ebneeha Competition is a student-focused entrepreneurship and innovation program designed to discover talent, develop skills, and embed an entrepreneurial mindset among university students. The program was implemented in partnership with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and focused on enabling youth to address environmental, social, and infrastructure challenges in informal and underserved areas. Ebneeha encourages students to apply creative and entrepreneurial thinking to real community challenges, empowering them to develop game-changing ideas that contribute to sustainable development and social impact.

Program Structure & Activities

Participants progressed through a structured competition journey that combined capacity-building training sessions with mentorship and expert guidance. Throughout the program, they gained early exposure to entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems and were provided with opportunities to refine their ideas through continuous feedback and iteration. Through this comprehensive process, students were supported in transforming their initial concepts into actionable, well-developed solutions with strong potential for real-world application and community impact.
