Gemini Africa Joins the National Dialogue at the First Egyptian Civil Society Forum

At the First Egyptian Civil Society Forum, Mr. Adly Thoma, Founder and Managing Director of Gemini Africa, participated in a panel discussion on the role of entrepreneurship in strengthening the sustainability of civil society organizations. During the session, he highlighted the importance of adopting innovative financing models, building stronger private sector partnerships, and empowering entrepreneurs as a pathway toward long-term sustainable development impact. The forum brought together a distinguished group of leaders and key stakeholders in the development and civil society sector, including Laila Hosny, Executive Director of the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development; Vivian Thabet, Executive Director of CARE Egypt; Ambassador Nabila Makram, Head of the Technical Secretariat of the National Alliance for Civil and Development Work; and Dr. Ahmed Saada, Executive Director of the NGO Support Fund, representing the Ministry of Social Solidarity. Mr. Adly Thoma joined a distinguished panel discussion alongside Shahdan Arram, Secretary General of the Vodafone Egypt Foundation for Community Development; Ahmed Ismail, Executive Director of Kheir We Baraka and New Woman Foundation; and Dr. Rania El-Wahsh, Resource Development Consultant at the Ataa Charitable Investment Fund (ACIF). The session was moderated by Salma Mousallem, Senior Vice President of MNT-Halan.
