Cairo, Egypt – This week marks the official launch of Art for Humanity, a national creative platform co-created by Gemini Africa and the Egyptian Food Bank to discover, nurture, and showcase emerging creative talent from across Egypt.

Built on the belief that every person has a story worth telling, Art for Humanity harnesses the power of art, culture, and storytelling to celebrate humanity, strengthen communities, and create meaningful social impact. The platform brings together artists, photographers, writers, designers, mentors, cultural institutions, and strategic partners to create opportunities for creative expression while promoting inclusion, cultural preservation, and community engagement.
The journey begins with the launch of the Photography Track, inviting photographers from across Egypt to capture authentic stories that reflect the people, places, traditions, resilience, and moments that define our shared humanity.
Over the coming months, the platform will expand to include two additional creative tracks:

Together, these tracks will create a national ecosystem that empowers emerging creatives, connects them with industry mentors and opportunities, and showcases their work through exhibitions, public activations, educational initiatives, and strategic partnerships.
The launch of Art for Humanity reflects the shared commitment of Gemini Africa and the Egyptian Food Bank to invest in people, amplify local voices, and demonstrate how creativity can contribute to stronger, more connected communities. Applications for the Photography Track will open this week, marking the first chapter of a long-term national platform that celebrates creativity with purpose.
